Amazing Starts With Me - Wayne Farms
The Project
Wayne Farms came to Inspire to help create an employee recognition program called Amazing Starts with Me. The initiative aims to encourage Wayne Farms team members at all levels of the company to go above and beyond in four key pillar areas: People, Planet, Food Quality and Animal Welfare.
Inspire worked with Wayne Farms to launch the campaign through message framework creation, brand identity development and the creation of an animation in collaboration with external partners. The launch reached employees in the corporate office, production facilities, hatcheries and transportation, to ensure all team members had the same awareness of the program.
Since the program launched, Inspire has worked with Wayne Farms to plan quarterly pillar-related events and to recognize employees who have done an amazing job. This support includes employee spotlights, infographics, facility signage, video development, newsletters and event planning.
The Results
- In the first six months of the program, 33 employees were recognized at a corporate level.
- Employees in corporate, production, animal care and transportation have participated in events highlighting community, feeding others, animal welfare and sustainability and recycling.
- During the Food pillar event, employees at one facility donated nearly 18,000 pounds of food to a local food pantry.
- Wayne Farms has received an influx of positive feedback from employees who have been recognized at the local and corporate levels.
- Employee morale is high regarding the program.
