Implementing an Integrated Ad Campaign and Media Outreach to Boost Sales

The Project

The American Dairy Association Mideast, which represents dairy farmers in Ohio and West Virginia, paired up with Inspire PR Group to help support Ohio’s cheesemakers sell Ohio-made cheese products on an online platform. ADA Mideast first launched their online shopping platform in the holiday season of 2020 to help Ohio’s cheesemakers boost sales during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the help of digital and social ads, coordinated by Inspire PR Group, sales on the holiday cheese shopping website climbed. What started as a 2020 initiative to help promote cheese sales for the holiday season has become a static online site where anyone can shop Ohio cheeses to be sent to family, friends, or even themselves anytime and anywhere. The site, shopohiocheese.com, is a convenient online site that lists many Ohio cheesemakers and Inspire PR Group facilitates the efforts of promotion through digital and social ads, driving traffic to the site and sharing ad results with ADA Mideast. Additionally, Inspire PR Group was tasked with leading both local, regional, and national media outreach to further support the campaign.

The Results

• In 2022, the Shop Ohio Cheese Campaign ran from November 21-December 24, 2022, and
generated nearly 6.1 million impressions
• Coverage for digital campaigns was in 6 of Ohio major city online publications
• The campaign was covered with display ads, email banner ads, native posts/stories on social,
Instagram reels, printed gift guides and emails
• Campaign emails had an open rate of over 41.7%
