A Special Holiday Message from Hinda Mitchell

As we put a wrap on Inspire’s 9th year in business and look ahead to a strong 10th anniversary year, I’ve never been more grateful for our amazing Inspire team, our incredible clients, and our strong business and community partners.

It “takes a village” to raise a business, and in this increasingly complex economic and social climate, leaning on others, finding true collaboration, and growing ourselves and each other has never been more important. Similarly, your continued trust in Inspire’s communicators and the diverse, relevant and interesting work you give us to do each day is always valued.

2023 has been a significant year for our firm. We’ve invested heavily in the growth of our team, from professional development to leadership coaching, and we have seen the results. We welcomed new associates, and many on our team were promoted in 2023, as we put our newly developed comprehensive career mapping process into action. We announced rising agency leaders, with the advancement of Hana Bieliauskas and Diane Hurd to SVP and partner, and Katie Lundy to vice-president.

We doubled down on our commitment to community – with multiple team members serving in Board leadership and volunteer roles – and expanding our sponsorships, donations and involvement in civic and charitable organizations. We have told countless stories for our nonprofit clients, and we remain in awe of their dedication to caring for those who are vulnerable.

And WOW – we got to do some really cool things this year. From coordinating major national and international media placements to attending the White House Easter Egg Roll, and from landing some great new clients in technology, public transportation and pet care to supporting major corporate acquisitions and new restaurant launches, the opportunities we’ve had in partnership with our clients have been tremendous. And… we even won a few awards, including recognition as one of Columbus’ 50 fastest-growing companies.

But most importantly, we’ve remained true to our vision – to be a trusted communications partner to valued brands - and purpose – to create change and connection through meaningful communication – even as we grow our team and clients. And as we look ahead to marking 10 years in business – a milestone worth celebrating – we can’t wait for what’s next.

I remain, as always, deeply grateful for the opportunities Inspire has been given, and for the chance to do impactful work that matters each and every day. On behalf of our team and my family, I wish you and your loved ones the happiest of holidays and a joyful start to 2024.
