Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern
The Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern is a classic chef-driven American restaurant and tavern serving a scratch-made menu featuring fresh fish, hand-pattied burgers, sandwiches, pizza and a variety of entrees and appetizers. To help promote a full menu revamp across all 22 of the restaurant’s locations, Inspire worked with Rusty Bucket to develop a comprehensive strategy for media relations and social media influencer partnerships.
Inspire announced the menu launch with local publications and broadcast outlets across each of the eight markets as well as national restaurant trade media. In addition, Inspire reached out to radio stations to coordinate food drops of the new menu items for on-air mentions.
Inspire coordinated visits with targeted social media influencers to try the new menu items and share about their experience with their followers. The influencers drove traffic to Rusty Bucket’s social media platforms by tagging them in their content and hosting promo card giveaways that required their followers to follow Rusty Bucket to enter the contest.
- Secured an in-depth TV segment with Good Day Columbus, which featured a cooking demonstration that highlighted several new menu items and reached 113,286 people, among other media mentions
- Reached a national audience of approximately 213,465 people through a feature in the ‘Menu Tracker’ from Nation’s Restaurant News
- Partnered with several social media influencers in all markets, including Laurie Livin Life – Sarasota, Wear Love Wanders – Columbus and Dayton Eats – Dayton to reach a combined audience of approximately 70,000 people
