The Project
In July 2023, Inspire worked with the Ohio Poultry Association (OPA) to promote their all-new Devilishly Good stand at the Ohio State Fair, which exclusively featured 13 flavors of deviled eggs, including the 2023 Ohio State Fair flavor, Cotton Candy. OPA’s offerings included:

Cotton Candy Deviled Egg - the 2023 Ohio State Fair flavor, featuring a smooth, creamy filling made with powdered sugar, cream cheese, sweet cotton candy syrup and topped with a light and airy piece of cotton candy

Lemon Meringue Deviled Egg – the 2022 Ohio State Fair flavor

Chocolate Deviled Egg – the 2019 Ohio State Fair flavor

S’mores Deviled Egg – featuring marshmallow topping and a graham cracker

Mexican Street Corn Deviled Egg – served with corn, cotija cheese and a few dashes of Tabasco

Everything Bagel Deviled Egg – topped with Everything Bagel seasoning

Honey Fig Blackberry Deviled Egg – served with honey fig jelly and a fresh blackberry

Maple Bacon Jalapeño Deviled Egg – drizzled with maple syrup and topped with a piece of bacon and a jalapeño

Sweet Korean BBQ Deviled Egg – served with Korean-style BBQ sauce and topped with green onions and wontons

Crunchy Chili Deviled Egg – garnished with shredded cheddar cheese and Fritos

Tomato Bacon Ranch Deviled Egg – featuring creamy ranch flavor and topped with bacon

Greek Deviled Egg – served with a black olive slice and a sprinkle of Penzey’s Greek Seasoning

Subtle Habanero Deviled Egg - a spicy twist on a classic deviled egg
Inspire implemented a comprehensive media relations and social media campaign, which included identifying Columbus, state media and influencers to engage with to encourage Ohioans to try OPA’s deviled egg offerings. Inspire also coordinated food drops and on-site segments for Columbus media.

As a result of these outreach efforts, OPA received 65+ placements from outlets like NBC 4, 10TV, ABC 6, Wake Up Cbus, Good Day Columbus, Good Evening Columbus, Spectrum News, Columbus Underground, Columbus Dispatch, and also earned national media attention from RFD TV, Mashed.com, The Takeout, and more.
