Lucky 7: Inspire is Thriving

Inspire PR Group turned seven this July, and the lucky number is living up to its reputation! As we celebrate another trip around the sun after a challenging past year, we are immensely thankful for the positive momentum we've felt during the past few months. This summer, we have added five new team members, celebrated three internal promotions, and have embarked on many exciting new client partnerships and meaningful projects.

• Sherri Kirk joins as a director, bringing with her more than two decades of academic medicine and healthcare industry experience and providing skillful counsel to numerous Inspire clients in areas of strategic communications, public relations, media relations and crisis communications. Prior to joining Inspire, Sherri led University of Cincinnati Health’s corporate media relations strategy and advanced the academic health system’s national and regional reputation.

• Specializing in digital communications and marketing, social media strategy, content development, SEO, storytelling, marketing data analytics and website, brand and project management, Leah Hooks is Inspire’s newest account manager. Leah’s experience spans multiple sectors, including mental health and substance use, banking, education, and religion.

• Meghann Winters joins the Inspire team as an account associate, with three years of communication experience in the agriculture sector, including digital communications, project management and content development. In her role, she works alongside agriculture and food clients, nonprofits, and others.

• Also an account associate, Gillian Janicki comes to us with experience in media relations, content creation, and influencer marketing. Her focus is building meaningful connections and putting clients in the spotlight through strategic influencer engagement, media outreach, and relationship management.

• After first interning with Inspire, recent Ohio University grad Hannah Schuller joined us full time as an account coordinator this spring. Her strengths in storytelling, writing and strategic thinking complement her media, blogger and communications work with our restaurant and hospitality clients.

• Along with these new additions, Inspire staff have been expanding their roles. Katie Lundy, who started with Inspire in 2016, has been promoted to Director and will continue to oversee several of the firm’s leading client accounts while providing media relations counsel, media training and executive coaching.

• Logan Trautman, who has been with us almost since Inspire was founded, has been promoted to Account Supervisor. She provides strategic consult related to digital marketing, social media strategy, influencer relations, content development and project management.

• Rebecca Kerr was recently promoted to Account Associate. Rebecca interned at Inspire before joining the team last year full-time as an Account Coordinator. She is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University with dual degrees in strategic communication and English.

We are excited to welcome these talented new team members and celebrate with our team as we continue to expand and grow in our experience and expertise together. Our first seven years have brought us a long way, with numerous local and national clients and projects.
