After working with Inspire as an intern and in a coordinator role for the summer, Rebecca transitioned to a full-time account coordinator in October 2020.
Prior to joining Inspire, Rebecca acquired a diverse resume of internships throughout her time at The Ohio State University. She worked as a client engagement intern at Fahlgren Mortine, as a public relations and marketing coordinator at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair and as a communications intern at The Ohio Society of CPAs. Through these roles, Rebecca gained significant public relations experience. Promotional materials and events she assisted with helped attract over 900,000 visitors to the 12-day Ohio State Fair in 2019. She engaged in interviews and scriptwriting for podcasts for the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Ohio State Fair, conducted competitor analysis and research and pitched events to local media and influencers. During her internships, Rebecca also discovered her passion for media, strategy and the overall allure of the fast-paced PR world.
Rebecca grew up in Medina, Ohio, before moving to Columbus to attend OSU. She graduated in May 2020 with dual degrees in strategic communication and English. While at OSU, Rebecca was a member of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) for all four years of college and served as the chapter’s vice president of programming for two years. In addition, she was also a member of The PRactice, OSU’s student run PR firm, where she worked as an account associate, an account supervisor and served as firm HR Director. Rebecca also received the Walter W. Seifert Award and Staircase to Heaven scholarship from the OSU School of Communication.
A self-described pop culture lover and iced coffee addict, Rebecca enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, watching movies and going on the occasional impromptu road trip.
