Digital Strategist

Leah Hooks is an account manager with more than seven years of experience in marketing and communications. She specializes in digital communications and marketing, social media strategy, content development, SEO, storytelling, marketing data analytics and website, brand and project management.

Prior to joining Inspire, Leah served as the Digital Communications Specialist for ADAMH, the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County, where she cultivated an engaging online community to spread awareness of ADAMH-funded resources, created new methods of communicating with ADAMH network provider agencies and the public, managed the launch of a new website and played a key role in the success of numerous marketing campaigns. In this role, she also served on the Ohio Opioid Education Alliance (OOEA) Planning Team and the Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition (FCSPC) Communications Action Team.

Having received her bachelor’s degree in economics management from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2014, she also has marketing and communications experience in the banking, education and religious sectors. Currently, she is serving on the board for the Pickaway County Council on Youth Leadership. Leah grew up in the pumpkin-obsessed town of Circleville, Ohio, where she continues to live with her husband, Ricky, and two cats, Jack and Sam. When she is not working, you can find Leah prioritizing her mental health by crocheting or taking long walks to enjoy nature.
