Emily Hanhart is an account manager at Inspire with nearly six years of experience in the communications field. She specializes in media relations, storytelling, content development and internal communications and manages a wide variety of account teams at Inspire. Her clients span a range of industries including clean energy development, restaurants, construction, homebuilding and education.
Before joining the Inspire team in April 2019, Emily worked for Jasculca Terman, a national public affairs agency based in Chicago. There she supported various communication efforts for clients in the healthcare, education, transportation and workforce development industries. In this role, Emily served as an on-site communications consultant for an international energy corporation where she realized her knack for internal communications and navigating clients through challenging situations. She supported a national arts foundation in this same capacity as well.
Right out of college, Emily worked in Dallas, Texas, at a boutique consulting firm where she managed communications for clients in the legal, energy and transportation sectors.
Emily grew up in Dover, Ohio, and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and strategic communications from Miami University. She currently sits on the executive committee for the Young Professionals Council of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Outside the office, Emily enjoys being an aunt, exercise in any form, and spending time with friends and family.
