Carissa Welsh

Carissa Welsh is an account manager with over 5+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, media relations, marketing and advertising, crisis communications, project management and event planning.

Prior to joining Inspire, Carissa was an account executive at Dix & Eaton, a public relations agency in Cleveland, Ohio. In her role, she helped to plan and manage paid traditional and digital advertising programs, monitor and report on active crisis situations and create and manage various marketing and media relations programs.

Carissa also served in a series of progressive digital marketing roles with DAS Technology in Scottsdale, Arizona, developing and expanding clients’ social media presence and spearheading and integrating new social media products into the agency’s offerings.

Carissa received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies, with a minor in mass communication, from the University of Iowa, in addition to earning an event planning certificate.

Carissa grew up in Solon, Iowa. She currently resides in Granville, Ohio, and enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking and traveling. She also loves to spend time with her family, friends and Labradoodle, Gus.
